- Martin Jensen and Julieann Selden, Ph.D. Graduate Students Bioengineering and Chemistry, respectively, were awarded National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowships in 2015.
- Precious Cantú received her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and her certificate from the Nanotechnology Training Program in 2015. She was awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Award to Switzerland (also known in Switzerland as The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship). She will be conducting research at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne during 2015-16.
- Graduate Students Martin Jensen, Jared Zitnay, and Nick Frazier shared lab experiences with junior high school students in the 2015 Utah Natural History Museum's Summer Science Camp on July 15, 2015.
- Long Lou is the first Nanotechnology Training Program graduate to receive his certificate in 2014. He received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 2014 and is now a postdoctoral associate at the University of Texas at Austin.
