The Zharov Group is working in two main areas. The focus of the first area is on hybrid organic-inorganic nanoporous materials.  In particular, they work on the preparation and study of nanoporous colloidal materials and single glass nanopores.  The second area of research is modular anti-cancer agents.  Dr. Zharov’s group works on the preparation of integrated nanoparticles for theranostics applications.
