The principal interest of the Miller Research Group with regard to nanotechnology is in magnetic materials (organic-based) that exhibit bulk magnetic ordering (ferro- or ferrimagnets) due to the presence of nanoscale magnetic domains. Magnets with high (hard) and low (soft) coercivity, as well as magnet exhibiting solvent, photomagnetic or pressure responses are being studied.
