Dr. Hlady’s research interests include designing nano-structured interfaces for neuronal pathfinding and regeneration, studying the role of mixed surface chemistries on blood protein adsorption, nano-mechanical characterization of lung endothelial cell glycocalyx layer, imprinting Langmuir monolayers and thin polymer films for protein recognition, and designing interfaces for template calcium phosphate nucleation and oriented crystal growth.
