nanoUtah 09 Student Poster winners with Nano Institute

nanoUtah 2009 was a very successful installment of the annual conference series organized by the University of Utah's College of Engineering and the Nano Institute of Utah. 215 people attended the conference last year and were very fortunate to hear from high profile speakers in the nanotechnology world including Dr. Mihail C. Roco, Senior advisor for Nanotechnology at the National Science Foundation, Dr. Richard L. McCreery, Senior Research Office at the National Institute for Nanotechnology (Canada), and Vladimir P. Torchilin, Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine at Northeastern University, and more.
The theme for nanoUtah 2010, October 14-15, is The Crossroads of Science Engineering & Industry boasting four sessions for research presentations including Medicine, Sensors, Electronics, and Materials. Be sure to save the date!nanoUtah returns to the beautiful Marriott City Center in downtown Salt Lake City this year. More information regarding the conference can be found on the website. Details regarding invited speakers, sponsorship, registration, and the call for abtracts will be coming soon.
As before, this year's conference will feature a keynote address, dinner reception, and poster session on Thursday October 14th evening. Research presentations, more poster viewing, and lunch will be on Friday the 15th. This promises to be an event you will not want to miss!
