The recently established Graduate Training Program in Nanotechnology at the University of Utah is soliciting applications to support funding of five (5) entering PhD (or MD/PhD, PharmD/PhD) students for 2010-2011 academic year from a cross-section of departments on campus.
The National Science Foundation's flagship interdisciplinary training program, Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT), is designed to meet the challenges of educating Ph.D. science and engineering students with the interdisciplinary background and the technical, professional, and personal skills needed for the career demands of the future.
